Before ReachLocal (www.reachlocal.com), Sport and Health Clubs, based in Washington, DC, only used traditional advertising like television and radio. But as the costs of traditional advertising rose, they allocated their budget to Internet marketing. ReachLocal leads are now 20 percent of their business, and they are using the tracking and recorded calls feature to train their staff. Nancy Terry, SVP of Sport & Health says, “I recommend ReachLocal to everyone that I talk to. It is the most affordable lead generator that I have ever found.”
This little design is used world wide for fun competitions. It is the type of model kids built in the fifties. These days, radio is usually used due to limited free flight space.
Buy the book amzn.to Audio book amzn.to read by Alan himself. Audio book also available to download from iTunes bit.ly Journalist, presenter, broadcaster, husband, father, vigorous all-rounder — Alan Partridge — a man with a fascinating past and an amazing future. Gregarious and popular, yet Alan’s never happier than when relaxing in his own five-bedroom, south-built house with three acres of land and access to a private stream. But who is this mysterious enigma? Alan Gordon Partridge is the best — and best-loved — radio presenter in the region. Born into a changing world of rationing, Teddy Boys, apes in space and the launch of ITV, Alan’s broadcasting career began as chief DJ of Radio Smile at St. Luke’s Hospital in Norwich. After replacing Peter Flint as the presenter of Scout About, he entered the top 8 of BBC sports presenters. But Alan’s big break came with his primetime BBC chat show Knowing Me, Knowing You. Sadly, the show battled against poor scheduling, having been put up against News at Ten, then in its heyday. Due to declining ratings, a single catastrophic hitch (the killing of a guest on air) and the dumbing down of network TV, Alan’s show was cancelled. Not to be dissuaded, he embraced this opportunity to wind up his production company, leave London and fulfil a lifelong ambition to return to his roots in local radio. Now single, Alan is an intensely private man but he opens up, for the second time, in this candid, entertaining, often deeply emotional … Video Rating: 4 / 5
www.bbc.co.uk The show that takes the gin from gin and tonic and adds it to ima and that to creative a cocktail of creativity. A panel of imaginators are grilled over their imagined sounds in this animated sketch taken from their Radio 4 show “That Mitchell and Webb Sound”.
Finally the charter boat ad from RACQ. “Charter boat? What charter boat?” I couldn’t find it anywhere on the web so I filmed it off the TV. Sorry the quality isn’t the best, but at least it’s here!
New to Michael’s resume is one of those Geico commercials in which a celebrity helps a Geico customer explain their insurance experience. Michael also was featured in a self-mocking promo for ESPN Radio in 2007. The concept of the promo was that, without ESPN’s updates, a fan’s sports knowledge would be as dated as Michael Winslow. Winslow has been referenced in episodes of “King of the Hill,” “Family Guy,” “Robot Chicken” and “The Simpsons” (in which Homer says, “We live in a society of laws, why do you think I took you to see all those Police Academy movies? For fun? Well I didn’t hear anybody laughing! Did you? Except at that guy who made sound effects. Video Rating: 4 / 5
