I started looking at the old public announcement adverts and then found myself thinking about all the things we are told we cant do and should be afraid of and fear. Alot of the stuff that is put upon us through advertising is controlling and moulding us into who we think we are or should be. I ended up edited things together and came up with this. what we learn is what we are and what we think we should be. I have stopped watching the news now for about 3 weeks, no morning television, no radio station spilling out regurgetated stories of sorrow and pain. The outcome of this is that I have seen no difference in my life, only that I do not know about all the shit that is going on and have not been downloaded with fear before I have left for work. Fear of money, fear of poverty, fear of helplessnessssss. Turn off your tv sets and make your own news. What is happening in your day that you can tell others? why cant we make eachother smile once in a while instead of tell eachother what we should be scared of?? It is safer to be scared than to be happy for some.
