Auggie Smith 10 min reel

Auggie Smith is one of the most underrated comedy stars of his generation. Having toured the country as a working comic for over a decade, it is only recently that he has started to get the recognition he deserves. Auggie made history in 2010 by winning both the San Francisco and Seattle comedy competitions in the same year. The San Francisco event alone was something not able to be won by giants like Robin Williams, Ellen Degeneres, Dane Cook, Ralphie May, Kevin Pollack and Rob Schneider. And in between those events, he managed to sneak in an LA show with the legendary Gallagher. A huge favorite of the hit syndicated radio program “The Bob & Tom Show’, he has even headlined on the ‘Bob & Tom All Stars of Comedy’ tour. His comedy is also in regular rotation on Sirius radio. In 2008, he was named Club Comic of the Year at the Rooftop Aspen Comedy Festival. No stranger to television, Auggie headlined the Comedy Central ‘Live at Gotham’ comedy show, in addition to a memorable run on NBC’s ‘Last Comic Standing’.
